Clean out your closet, support your campus. By donating today, you actively help make affordable clothing accessible while directly funding scholarships for LAVC students.

Step 1

Gather gently used items you would like to donate

Accepted items include:

  • Clothing

  • Shoes

  • Accessories

  • Bags

Step 2

Place all items in a bag or box and label, “Monarch Closet”

Step 3

Drop off donations at the Unity Center during operating hours for a Monarch Closet staff member to collect

Donation Hours

Monday - Wednesday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Thursdays 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

  • Yes. For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept undergarments or highly damaged items.

  • The Unity Center is located in the Campus Center building beside Monarch Square where Monarch Closet events are held.

  • The Monarch Closet is open to the entire LAVC community! Whether you need everyday essentials or are simply looking around, everybody is welcome! (Our scholarship, however, is strictly limited to enrolled LAVC students.)
